A few weeks ago my publisher informed me that my children's book, Beach Beings, was being 'remaindered', a term I'd never heard before, but which turns out means that they were pulping all copies of the book! I was devastated as this was my first full length children's books and I loved writing it - not only that but it has wonderful illustrations by my son, Jamie.
So, as the copyright returned to me, I've worked very hard on setting it all out again and have self-published it, bigger and better, under my own Kirkbee Books label. There is now a hardback version with full colour illustrations, but sadly that works out very expensive, (so I'll probably be the only person with a copy of that), but the paperback is priced at £7.99, available on Amazon.
